At the start of a new year I find it good to ask a couple of questions to myself with regards to the past year.
What was good in 2017?
What went really well?
What wasn’t that good or didn’t go according to plan?
How will I change some of that in the new year and what am I going to do differently this year, this week or just today?
This is only a couple of questions and you can have your own list of questions, but it is important to ask yourself relevant questions to allow you to grow.
The most important question however would be the question on authenticity.
How real are you?
To be your true self and to be honest with yourself is the fisrt step towards a happier you.
Value and respect yourself and start seeing yourself as God created you.
Jer 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you”, says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope”
Be real today and pray to God, He is ready to listen. He made a promise in verse 13 “If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me”
Are you looking for Him in every area of your life, because He is ready to be found. Ready to bring about the plans He has for you.
